If It Wasn't...
If it wasn't for him; she'd be dead,
If it wasn't for him; I wouldn't have known her smile,her purity
I wouldn't have known what it felt like to be a hero,
If it wasn't for him; she would've been murdered for her gift,
She would never have smiled again,
If it wasn't for him; she would've suffered the same fate as her parents,
If it wasn't for them; I would never have felt this way about him,
I would never have felt like a father towards her,
I would never have felt this way about another man...
If it wasn't for her; I would never have worked with the FBI,
If it wasn't for him; she would've died from the virus,
If it wasn't for her; I would never have gotten this far,
I never would've found a reason to live after the divorce,
If it wasn't for her; I would never have met him,
He would never have this effect on me,
If it wasn't for her; I would've never known what it felt like to be a hero,
If it wasn't for them; I would've seen my gift as a curse,
I would never have had these feelings for another man,
If it wasn't for them; I wouldn't be as happy as I am now...
If it wasn't for him; the boogeyman would've found me,
If it wasn't for him; the boogeyman would've hurt me,
If it wasn't for them; I would be dead by now,
If it wasn't for him; the doctors wouldn't have found out what was wrong with me,
They found me and protected me,
If it wasn't for them; I would have never felt safe again,
If it wasn't for them; I would never have felt like I had a family again,
I can never thank them enough,
I owe them everything,
