A/N: This is a one-shot dealing with Gohan and Lime.
Three years of staying in-touch after Cell,
Gohan goes to highschool-without Lime.
Gohan and Lime are 14.
This starts on a Monday.
After dating Videl for a month, Gohan decided to tell Lime about her. Gohan and Videl were riding on the Nimbus to Mt. Paouz. Videl was messing with her pigtails in the wind. Gohan was going to bring Videl to meet Lime, who was like a little sister to him. He remembered when the two of them met and laughed.
" Videl, can I take you to meet an old friend of mine?" Gohan asked.
"Sure, why not?" Videl answered. The Nimbus landed in Chazke village by Lime's grandfather's store.
"Lime, are you home?" Gohan called. Lime ran out. She was ready to tell him about her love for him. Lime gave him a hug, which Gohan returned.
" Videl, this is Lime, she's like a sister to me!" Gohan said after he broke the hug.
" Nice to meet you Lime, I'm Gohan's girlfriend, by the way." Videl said with her hand out.
" Oh, it's nice to meet you, Videl." Lime said, very disappointed.
" What's wrong Lime?" Gohan asked with concern.
" Grandpa's back is hurting him badly." Lime lied.
" Videl, can I take care of Lime's grandpa, alone?" Gohan asked.
" Sure, but don't do anything with Lime." Videl said with a glare. Videl and Gohan hopped onto Nimbus and dropped Videl off at her mansion. He went back to the village and in the house, only to find Lime bawling onto a pillow.
" What's up with your grandpa?" Gohan asked.
" Nothing's wrong, I just said that so Videl would go away." Lime answered.
" Why?" Gohan asked.
" Because I love you, Gohan, I have for 2 years!" Lime exclaimed. Lime rushed up to him and kissed him. He got lost for a second and kissed back, but he got control and pulled away.
" I can't do this, Lime." Gohan said bitterly.
" I had too, just once." Lime said. Gohan walked out and flew to his house. What have I done? I just lost any chance I had to be with Gohan , Lime thought. Gohan got home and did all of his homework. Goten was sleeping at Trunks' house, so Gohan and Chi-chi could have private conversations. Gohan and Chi-chi were having dinner now. Since the kiss, Gohan's head had been hurting about who he should choose, Lime or Videl.
" Mom, I've got a problem." Gohan said.
" What? Are you having girl trouble?" Chi-chi joked, not knowing she was right.
" Actually, yeah." Gohan admitted.
" You came to the right person then, Gohan." Chi-chi said.
" Today Videl and I visited Lime, and Lime said her grandpa was having back problems. I took Videl home, and when I came back, Lime was crying. She told me she had loved me since we were 12, and then kissed me. Now I have to choose. And I have no idea who to choose. Please help me, mom!" Gohan begged.
" Videl. She's your girlfriend!" Chi-chi said. The next week when Gohan and Videl walked into the classroom, Gohan smelled Sharpener's scent on her.
" Videl, why do you smell like Sharpener?" Gohan asked. Crap! I forgot to take a shower, Videl thought.
" Okay Gohan, I've cheated on you with Sharpener since I met Lime! I thought you were cheating on me with her!" Videl exclaimed.
" Well, I haven't! She's like a sister to me!" Gohan replied with anger.
" Well, I guess we're done dating, Gohan, because I like Sharpener more!" Videl shouted. Gohan and Videl would never speak to each other again. After school that day, Gohan visited Lime again. When Lime opened the door, she glared at Gohan because he chose Videl. As soon as the door was completely opened, Gohan kissed Lime. They broke apart 1 minute later. Lime was happy as can be.
