She kept everything bottled up inside
And never spoke about what was on her mind
Although she thought about it all the time
She was a loner, afraid to let people near her
For the fear that they would hear her
Hear her cry and her voice quiver
She never spoke
That scared her
She was useless and broken
By the one she thought dear her
He destroyed her
Made her not want another near her
Not another to touch her
or another to kiss her..
Until one day
Full of rage, it finally hit her
Fuck what he did to her!
She finally decided to take back her life
She wasn't looking for love
She was looking for hype
She thought about it for a while
Then finally claimed her life
She took that flight
Changed who she was and became who she wanted to be
She put her moves into action
She starting acting
Dressing different
Going out at night
She smoke to make her body numb
She drank to have some good ole fun
But when the blunt finished burning and the bottle ran out she thought about dying…
Who was she lying?
Cutting and slashing all over herself too
She saw that this way only left a physical bruise
The pain from the cuts eventually faded away
But her heart was still sore
The pain still stayed
Broken up a little more
No matter what she did to try to hide it
The truth came back harder each time… She was broken hearted
She now realized it will only get harder
The pain she was feeling was only the starter
It's a real bother
It's like her chest was on fire
Ignited by a lighter
Her heart was heavy
She could barely breath steady
She just wanted to get through
She didn't really know what to do
Partying made it hurt too
Because when the party was over who would she turn to?
She had no one
The one she thought she knew screwed her over and left her too
Just like the men before him
She realized the pattern
She realized this was the way her life was gonna be…
Man after man
Coming in
False promises
Broken hearted
Used and Abused
Love that was not true…
And to this day she don't know what to do
She's confused
She's hurt
What did she do to deserve this hurt?
She just doesn't know how to make the pain go away…
