Throwing it all away

I feel like that is all.

There ain't a single day,

I don't want you,

I don't need you.

There ain't a single thing I wouldn't do for you.

A young woman with long brown hair sat on a bed in a darkened room, stone still, as she looked at the blonde-haired young man standing, silhouetted against the window. "So, you're just gonna give up and die, is that it!", she asked, her voice shaking slightly. Cloud answered without turning to look at her. "Yes." So, Tifa thought, he's decided not to live without him.

I can't understand the way you're feeling,

but I'm gonna keep on trying and trying

until I get it right.

A part of you inside me's dying,

so tell me what you're gonna do

to bring me back to life.

"Cloud, I'm not gonna pretend to understand what you're feeling, but I'm not gonna give up on you.", Tifa said, successfully hiding the tears in her voice. Cloud sighed. "You should give up, Tifa.", he said softly, "I'm already gone."

You've given me everything.

How could you take it all away?

That place you left inside me

feels so empty.

I still want you here beside me.

"I won't live without you. I'm already emotionally dead. But, my physical life keeps me tied here. Away from you.", Cloud whispered softly as he leaned against the rusted side of the sword wedged into the soil of the cliff overlooking Midgar. "I miss you, Zack."

Bring me back to life,

'cause I'm not living without you.

'Cause I'm not breathing.

This helplessness won't go away.

"I'm not going to let you die, Cloud. I'm gonna find a way to save you. To give you the will to live again. I'll bring you back life.", Tifa whispered softly as she stood at the window. "I'm not going to lose you."

There ain't a single thing I won't do for you.

Bring me back to life.
