This is a one-shot to the mini-series „Alice" (SyFy's). I guess, whoever watched the series should know who this is about. Enjoy!

It drove her crazy.
Every time he touched her. Protective.
Seemingly meaningless.
Every time he smiled at her. Sweetly.
Deathly.
It would be her death if she would ever be away of that smile.
The way he speaks. The way he moves.
The way he hurts.
He hurt her many times.
He hurt her when he told this Dodo guy about her ring. She felt betrayed.
She was hurt by him when he was shot by Dodo, when he tried to save her, but was caught by Mad March. She felt useless.
It hurt her when he told her he can't come with her, because Wonderland needed him. She felt not needed.
He hurt her when he came up in the house with Dee and Dum, when he came to save her and she jumped into his arms. She felt save.
It hurt when he told her to go with Jack. To save her father. She felt he didn't care about her.
She still remembers the hurt when they met again in the Casino. He had many bruises. She felt she needed to lighten his wounds.
The last time he hurt her was before she left Wonderland. She saw him in the mirror, he wanted to go. No, he wasn't supposed to go, wasn't supposed to turn his back on her. And definitely not like that. She felt left alone for a moment.
But what hurt then wasn't that. It was what he said. His words hurt the most.
She had hoped that, now that Wonderland was free and okay again, that... Yes, that he might come with her, back to her world. To live there, to live side by side. But his words hurt. She felt not needed. Not by him.
„I came to say... Goodbye."
As she was back in her world, the first thing that came to her mind had been his smile. It was overshadowed by something else, her memories of her father. Of his death. He had been there, too, he would've let her cry on his shoulder, mourn her father's death for hours, she was sure. If they would have had the time. So they left him in the Casino.
When he said goodbye to her, it was the last time he hurt her. That's what she thought.
But the time he really hurt her came when he was there, just before her eyes, in her world. He came for her. She felt safe in his arms. She felt happiness, and it hurt.
„I missed you."
The thing what hurt him the most was her leaving him.

This came to mind when I watched a Halice video (to the song Time is running out by Muse, I LOVE THAT SONG!)
It seems kinda... pointless to me, but anyway... I hope there's the bit heartbreaking-thingy in it that's kinda-chasing these two =)
