"Rob, why're you so chipper right now? Is the baby not yours or somethin'?" Tony Antioch knitted his eyebrows together, glaring at his best friend as they made their way to East Coast Boxing and MMA.

"Shut up Tone." Rob elbowed him roughly, "Coach said we have a visitor coming in from the West Coast. True prodigy. Top in his weight class and assured spot in the big leagues." Rob sighed.

"Sounds like a snotty rich kid to me. We'll see how he does, yo." Tony crossed his arms as they entered the gym, Phil, Mike, and Amir already stretching.

"Get stretchin', boys. They'll be here soon." Coach Dan said, walking to the front door to meet the supposed honored guests, "Caleb! My main man from the West Coast!" Dan said happily.

The other fighters turned around to watch. Caleb was a young looking, well groomed man in his early thirties. He was slightly shorter than Dan himself, but still an impressive sight.

"Who'd you bring to us today, Caleb?" Dan had a bit of a sparkle in his eyes that disappeared when a young girl, no less than 15, nodded.

"Finest young fighter under the age of 18. Defeated everybody in the middleweight class down west and midwest. Sky Sanchez." Caleb had a look of pride in his eyes.

"Are you shitting me? A GIRL is your best fighter? What happened to Royce? And Derrick? Or Even Frankie!" Dan said furiously, but it didn't phase Caleb.

" Royce quit fighting. Derrick's dead. Fuentes got his shoulder messed because of her. Girls are just as powerful as guys, Daniel. You know that. Give Sky a chance. She knows what she's doing and she can speak." Caleb replied calmly, signaling Sky to go in.

Dan sighed and looked at Caleb, "If she gets hurt, it's not on me."

Caleb laughed, "Nothing to worry about, my friend."
