After the train to Hogwarts dissappeared, Ginny wanted to break the silence.
"Harry and I thought maybe you would like come over to us"
Hermione and Ron exchanged looks. They were hoping to get an invitation not to go back home directly, in order not to face the fact that Rose was gone.
Ginny and Harry remembered how they felt after James went to Hogwarts for his first year a year ago. This was new for Ron and Hermione, and therefore they were in need of support.
"It would actually be a great idea." said Ron.
"I'd be wonderful!" said Hermione, gladly.
Ginny smiled at Harry, happy to have their invitation accepted.
Meanwhile, Lily and Hugo were in a deep conversation.
"Lily, Uncle George gave me a new toy wand that changes the color of the room everytime you kiss the person next to you." claimed Hugo very proudly.
"Really?"Lily replied, with a sudden resemblence of curiousity.
"Yes, and he gave me other presents as well." said Hugo with a huge smile.
"I want to see them!" cherished Lily.
Then she suddenly got upset.
"Mom, why don't Uncle George give me presents?" asked Lily.
"Ohh, Lily. You know it was Hugo's birthday 4 days ago! I'm sure he will also give you presents on your birthday." Said Ginny with a motherly voice.
Everyone else laughed at Ginny's happy face, when she heard that she would also be given presents.
Hugo and Lily held hands, and talked about games that only the two of them would understand and enjoy.
On their way, Harry gave Ginny a smile, for being such a great mother. Ginny smiled back, looking very happy.
Ron and Hermoine were walking in front, and debating over something.
"Of course I am so great at driving, how could I ever pass the examination if I weren't?" asked Ron.
"You could if Confunded the examiner!" claimed Hermoine.
"I didn't Confund anyone" shouted Ron.
Harry thought their argument was not worth debating and said that aloud.
They Apparated to Ron and Hermoine's house, and had a great night.
