Now, some of you may remember the JLU cartoon, with all the hoo-ha about if the Justice League ever went rogue, how would Cadmus stop them. Now I don't know about you, but I think the world would be pretty screwed if Batman ever went rogue, or 'crossed the line'. So I came up with this. I know this should belong in the JL section, but I wrote this with evil Cadmus, not Chaotic good Cadmus. Enjoy my first YJ fanfic/oneshot.

Based after series one but before Invasion. Also, contains Character death, don't like, don't read, don't complain.

"This is Cat Grant, I'm here atGotham Central Bank were just moments ago, The Batman killed The Joker. Yes The Batman killed The Joker. Witnesses say that.."

Robin turned the television to mute. He somehow always knew that Batman would snap one day, he just hoped that he'd be old enough and wise enough to defeat him when he wasn't being controlled, when he'd adapt.

We're screwed. That was the only coherent thought in his brain. We're so screwed.

The others soon joined him in watching the CCTV recording. The Joker has on his knees, laughing manically. He mouthed something, and then Batman raked the edge of a batarang across his throat. After a number of harrowing moments, Joker died.

"So now what?" Connor asked.

The room was silent.

"We bring him in."

The room turned to look at Robin.

"This is the –Batman- we're talking about! He even scares me!" Artemis yelled.

"I know. But we have to, it's our job."

"I know but…Boy Blunder? Aren't you the smallest bit scared?"

"Of course I am, but that doesn't mean we don't do our jobs."

After a few moments, the group walked silently over to the computer. The Justice League had probably sent a strike team to take him out. They linked up, and observed.

"This is Gee-Ell, we have visual." Came John "Gee-Ell" Stewarts voice.

"Acknowledged. Open fire." Came J'onn's voice.

There was a pause.

"You can send who you want J'onn. It doesn't matter. He was right. Jason had the right idea." Came Batman's monotone.

There was a scream, then a wet gurgle.

John Stewart was dead.

"Know this. Whomever you send, I will take out." The line went dead.

Superman was next, but he fell to a kryptonite edged batarang.

Green Arrow died. His cybernetic arrows exploded. Batman had remotely hacked them.

And then there was Wally. He was at home and the team had forgotten about him until now. Mercifully it was quick, Batman snapped his neck.

"Turn it off!" M'gann choked back a sob.

There was a flash of light behind them.

"RECOGNISED: BATMAN." Came the Zeta tube computer.

Dun Dun Dun?

Short blah blah blah.

Cult'r out.
