(Amaya POV)
I was walking towards my destination, Konoha, in the rain, in the middle of the night. When I asked the lady at the inn about nice places to live she told me of Konoha. I am twenty-four years old, and people think I'm insane because I talk to myself. I was stuck in an asylum because of that. I escaped however, but not without a few scars. I absently brushed over the scars on my neck, hissing as it hit one of the more recent injuries. I was happy for my trenchcoat, as it hid most of the frightening wounds.
"I'm not insane... right? I mean, I do talk to myself, but not enough to be labeled insane... I'm not insane. I know that much. I wasn't hurting anyone! I'm not insane, I didn't mean to make that guy get hurt!". I heard a chuckle from behind me, swiftly turning I saw a guy with a huge sword on his back. "Why are you arguing with yourself lady?"
I just started backing up, thinking 'If he is here to claim my bounty I'm dead! But he just asked me a question. I'm not going to tell him why.'
"Heh... Well you see... I had someone else with me... and I just noticed they have left me."
His aura turned cold, "Lady if you're going to lie at least make it believable."
I slumped, "Fine, I was talking to my self... because I'm an asylum escapee, happy? Name's Amaya"
He looked at me with slight boredom, "Why were you in an asylum...?"
I shrugged,tilting my head as I thought it over. I spoke in a confused tone, "I don't know, I just think that they hated me, and talking to myself gave them a reason to get rid of me." I started walking away waving, "bye-bye Zabuza! See you later."
When I had walked away he spoke with a interested, almost monotone voice, "Bye... Amaya, let our paths meet again someday."
When I had finally reached Konoha I was drenched to the core. the guards, after a small discussion led me to the Hokage's office. After I spoke with Lord Third I got a small estate, with enough rooms for a small clan. I also got enough money to properly dress, supply, and feed myself. He told me I was going to be an assistant for a team, after he tested me and I became a special jounin. Team assignment was tomorrow, so I'd be paired then. So I set my clock so I could arrive before the teams were assigned and stay with that team. I would be matched to a team with a blond kid he said would be my apprentice. He told me the fox secret, and I can't say I'm as happy about this village now as I was earlier.
Who tries to murder a baby!? I think if I like this kid I'll ask to see If I adopt him. I was glad to be let into the village, but something was fishy, the estate seems too familiar... 'Oh well, best sleep on it. It should come to me eventually.' I dressed up in my nightgown and I fell back on the bed. I was asleep before my head touched the pillow. I think I could get used to Konoha.
