Lonely Stars – A Jupiter and Nephrite poem
What did you see in the stars,
Their pale light only a reminder
That the sun has gone?
What did you love in their cold stares
Passionless, silently staring down
Through the darkness?
What won't they share with me your story
When all I see, is you're not there
And the night only feels alone
Tell me, do they see me too
When I look up, straining to hear them
Tell me, do they miss you too?
