Percy's POV
Hazel, Frank and I rushed to the forum. I was so excited to see Annabeth again. When I saw her walk down the laddder and scan the crowd, I knew she was looking for me. I snuck around and crept up behind her. I tapped her shoulder. "Guess who." She turned around and almost immediatly slapped me. Then she cursed me in Ancient Greek. When that was done, she shoved her face into my chest and sobbed. "Percy, I-I thought you were gone forever." She squeezed me tighter and sobbed some more."Everyone at camp was so scared, Percy." I kissed her forehead." I'm here now." she looked up and kissed me. "I love you, Seaweed Brain." she said. I smiled. "I love you too, Wise Girl." Afterwards, I introduced her to Reyna, Hazel and Frank. Reyna was obviously surprised that Annabeth was my girlfriend now. Annie introduced me to Jason, Piper, and Leo. Jason asked me if I knew Thalia Grace, and I said yeah, and he told me that Pinecone Face was his sister. I couldn't help it. I laughed. " So, Bolt Beard is your dad?" I asked him. "Yep." he replied. "Pipes's mom is Aphrodite, and Leo's dad is Hepheastus." Annabeth ran up to me, and yanked on my arm. "Excuse me for a sec. I need to borrow Percy." She pulled me away into a corner, and then told me something shocking."Percy, when you were gone, I thought, maybe, that.." she paused. "That when you saw me, you- you wouldn't remember me. Maybe you found a new girlfriend, maybe,I was just- I was just..." I looked at Annabeth. "It's okay. Tell me." "In the past, Percy. I considered staying at camp, because if you DIDN'T remember me I would just make things worse by thinking you DID remember me." "Annabeth, I'll always remember you. Nobody, not even Hera, can take you away from me."I said, and just hugged my Wise Girl close the rest of the night. Before we knew it, it was time to go. The Argo II sailed off, and we headed off in search of danger. Story of my life.
