Renesmee's POV
Opening my eyes, I looked up at the ceiling and smiled. It was covered in neon green stars, the tacky ones that 'glow in the dark'. Me and Jake had stuck them on there last weekend, when we had been super bored with nothing at all to do. Thinking of Jake made me smile, then frown.
He was my bestest friend in the whole wide world, but things were a little confusing between us right now. I know my family is different, and Jake hasn't aged a day since I was born, and now we are similar ages physically and mentally, it's a little weird.
But I pushed the thought aside and headed for the shower. Getting out, I wrapped a towel around me, and wandered back into my room, rubbing my long brown curls dry. I was facing the mirror when a knock came on my door.
"Yeh?" I called out, turning around. The door was pushed open and Jake stood there. In that split second a range of emotions crossed his face. Surprise, happiness, anger, sadness, and could I be mistaking the last one - love? I shook my head, as if to physically get the thought out. This was Jake!
By the time I looked up again at him he had arranged his features normally, or at least he thought he had. I knew different. I decided not to question it, just narrowed my chocolate brown eyes at him and gave a half smile.
"Breakfasts ready, and Bells sent me up to check you were up. It's shopping day apparently," Jake grinned, before turning on his heel, and the door swung shut behind him.
I sat on my bed and groaned. Shopping was my least favourite activity. But I'd promised Alice, my crazy aunt, and I knew she had made it into a girls day out, with my other aunt Rosalie and Emily and Kim, imprints from the wolves.
Quickly towelling my hair dry, I slipped on jeans and a fitted t-shirt. As I went to leave the room, I glanced briefly in the mirror before skipping down the stairs.
Everyone was gathered in the kitchen, no one eating other than Jake and I of course. Alice had a happy sparkle in her eye, and I could already see her bag ready by the door with her coat thrown over it. Mum had made me some cereal, and I hopped up onto the counter and tucked in, tuning in on the conversation the others were having.
"You haven't been hunting for days, go on, have a few days to yourself," Mum was urging Dad, his face creased in a frown. I wondered why, he'd normally take any oppurtunity for a boys break.
"Come on Edward, don't be such a let down. It's gonna be wicked!" Emmet boomed, with boyish enthusiasm. Dad's frown deepened, before his face smoothed out and he smiled.
"Okay then, we'll leave after the girls have gone," Dad smiled. Emmet whooped and high fived Jasper. We all laughed.
"Be ready in 15 minutes Nessie, we are leaving then," Alice turned to me, her beautiful face lighting up with a smile.
"What about Emily and Kim?" I asked, finishing my cereal.
"The boys are bringing them over. Oh and didn't I mention? Embry imprinted. On a beautiful girl from the reservation. Her name is Sophia I think. She's coming," Alice frowned.
"Oh right okay. When did this happen?" I asked. Normally Jake told me these things.
"Yesterday evening, at a bonfire or something," Alice waved a hand in the air. I nodded, then went to leave the room. As I turned my back to say something to Alice, I didn't notice Jake coming through the door.
I crashed straight into him, but luckily he saved us from falling, but this meant his arms were wrapped around me. I blushed and caught Alice winking at Mum. What was that about?
