Gerard's pov
I stumbled along the sidewalk, not able to keep myself awake. I gulped down more of my coffee. I sighed to myself, wonderful first day of school. Trust me moving to a new town mid senior year was not my idea. I may not have had any friends in my old town but it was home. After my father left my mother couldn't find a job, so I guess we didn't really have a choice. Mikey took it a lot harder than I did. Then again, he had a life. All I did there was probably what I'll do here, sit in my room and draw. I pulled out a cigarette and lit it expertly. I turned up the music I was listening to and started to daydream.
Frank's pov
"Ma, were the hell are they!" I screamed. My shoes had magically disappeared again. "By the closet hon." she called back. Amazing how mothers manage to keep track of your shit so well. I raced toward the closet door, pulling on the ratty all black converse. "BYYYE MAA!" I called though the house. I darted for the front door, somehow managing to grab my backpack in the process. I jumped off our porch, praying I wouldn't run into Jeremy and his friends. I really wanted to keep my face in tact today. I was mort than halfway to school when I begain to think I missed them. I rounded the final corner. No such luck. Fuck.
