Morgues
Seamus shivered, his sweater only barely protecting him from the cold Vancouver night. He looked to his friend beside him. He could tell he was nervous despite previously breaking into many different buildings. But it was no matter he knew that Stu could complete this task.
"Okay, the coast is clear" whispered Seamus.
"And you're sure we won't get caught?" inquired Stuart.
"How many times do I have to remind you? Alex hacked the building's networks so there's no running cameras and Grace... 'dealt' with the two patrolmen" Seamus began moving forward then turned and said "we'll be fine"
With a nervous smile Stuart nodded and they began creeping toward the dark gloomy building.
They moved across the parking lot quietly and quickly and soon approached the back doors. The doors were metal and had large, yellow block letters that read 'FIRE EXIT ONLY'.
They stood by the door for a moment. Then Seamus moved in front of the door and in one fluid, well practiced motion, kicked it in breaking the cheap deadbolt.
"Good, Alex was able to turn off the alarms" Seamus exclaimed.
The two turned on their flashlights and began walking down the hallway. After a short distance Stuart turned to Seamus and said "If you were just going to kick in the door why did we bother to sneak across the parking lot?"
Seamus pondered the question as they continued down the hallway. Then, with a sheepish grin, replied "Dramatic Affect" he then turned to Stuart and gave him a nod. Stu rolled his eyes but decided to drop it.
"There!" exclaimed Seamus suddenly. He continued exited "The Cold Chamber".
As they walked through the door Stuart had to repeat 'Totally worth the money' to stop himself from turning around and bolting back the way he'd just come.
Seamus, with a massive grin on his face, began unzipping bodybags, one after the other. Finally, he unzipped a body bag and his smile grew to a cartoonish size.
'Alex Chau' the toe-tag read.
"Why did you have to choose me for this?" Stuart asked almost desperately.
"My boy Peter told me you'd do anything if you were payed the right amount" he replied nonchalantly while examining the corpse.
"True but... fine whatever let's get this done. What's taking you?" He asked a tone of anger and paranoia in his voice.
"Just doing a quick pre-examination" he raised 'Alex's' eyelids "why the hell are you so nervous anyway, you've done this before"
"Look I don't mind being pinned as a criminal but this... whatever this is... I don't want people pinning me as one of you" said Stuart, getting more and more worried as he thought about it.
Seamus turned to him with a raised eyebrow.
"Whatever, I'm done here. Let's go" Seamus grabbed the lower half of the bodybag then turned to Stuart and said "and please, call me a necrophiliac, not 'this', thanks. Now hurry up and grab the other half"
Stuart complied eager to have this done and over with. So, in no time at all the two pushed through the door and began to go down the hallway back the way they came.
