Jace's Moon

What happens:

Bella Gets lost in the forest after Edward leaves. Instead of Sam Uley finding her, Jace finds her.
Jace isn't much like himself but I thought a nicer Jace would suit Bella, but "normal" Jace and Bella would be amazing too :)

"Bella, I'm leaving. And this will be the last time you will ever see me. I love you Bella" Edward wasn't usually one to make a joke about us being apart, and I could tell he was being serious.
"But Edward you can't just leave-" But he was already gone. "Edward?"

The further I walked, and the darker it got the more I realized the truth. Edward left and was not coming back.

When the moon had set in the middle of the night sky I didn't know where I was. I had wandered so far and it was so dark that I had no chance of finding my way back home. I decided my best option was to just stay where I was and find my way in the morning.

I woke up to a sharp pain in my side. When I opened my eyes I realized it was still dark and maybe only an hour or two later. Standing over me was a shadowed figure that looked like it was part lion. As my eyes adjusted, I realized that it was a tall boy about 16 years old. His golden hair almost matching the glow of the moon.

Suddenly a bright light shot out from the boys hand. A sword. My heart felt like it was beating out of my chest. "Oh,"He gasped, maybe he wasn't going to hurt me. My heart slowed down as he knelt down beside me. "What are you doing in the middle of a forest?"
"I-I got lost, and I-" The thought of Edward not being here anymore brought tears to my eyes, as much as I was trying not to cry.
"Hey, your safe now" He had such a soothing voice. Without any notice, he picked me up in his arms as if i were a baby and in one smooth moment stood up and started running. The way he ran reminded of Edward, as much as I tried to push his memory away. He moved so swift and fluidly, even at the incredible speed he was running.

"Who are you?"
"My name is Jace. 'Who are you?'"he repeated my question back to me.
"I'm Bella."I replied.
"And Bella, where were you going before he felt?"
"Wait- how do you know about Edward?"
"Is Edward the vampire...."He said"or werewolf cause I saw a few of those around here too." Jacob? Did he see Jacob?
"V-vampire, and I was going home-but I don't know where that is anymore."
"That's okay, I wasn't going to take you home anyways"
