Susan couldn't believe they were gone. All of them: Peter and Edmund, Mother and Father, Cousin Eustace and his friend Jill Pole, the Professor, Polly Plummer, and Lucy. She couldn't believe her little sister was gone. They were miles away by now; Aslan had transported them to Narnia, and that was why there were no bodies. She missed them, and she would miss them forever. They were far away from her now, and she couldn't do anything about it. One night, standing under the stars, she made a wish. She knew it was selfish, but she wished Lucy was here.

She missed the Narnian years. They might have thought she had forgotten, but she hadn't, and she never would. Pretending it was a game was her way of coping. She missed Lucy. Susan remembered how happy Lucy was, how the sun would light up her face as she grinned. She missed the little things; like how Lucy would tuck her hair behind her ear when she was nervous, how Lucy always thought the best of people, how Lucy always thought the best of the world. She never thought they would be anything but little mannerisms , but now she wished that Lucy would come back and do those things again. She missed Lucy, and she would miss her forever. She wished Lucy was here.
She remembered how Lucy's heart always sped up when she was scared, and how the shadows that flitted across her face were protective, but gentle. She hoped that wherever Lucy was, she knew that her sister Susan loved her and missed her. That her sister Susan wished she was there.

Susan missed Narnia. She missed ruling alongside her brothers and Lucy. She missed Tumnus the faun, and Oreius the centaur. She missed the way Lucy's face would light up in sunlight, and she missed the little things that she never thought would mean anything. Susan missed Lucy, and wished Lucy was still there.

A bright flowery field appeared in front of her. She walked forward, knowing exactly where she was. A large smile spread across as she spotted two figures walking toward her. The first, that she bowed to, was a large lion with a golden mane and a strong body with an aura of leadership. The second squealed and hugged her.

"I knew you'd never forget." Lucy Pevensie whispered to her older sister. "I never gave up, and I was right!" Susan smiled, and pushed her sister back to get a good look at her. Lucy was her proper age again (early 20's), and she was wearing a Narnian style gown that shimmered blues, greens and purples. Her silver laurel crown rested on her sun-kissed hair, and a silver necklace with a gleaming sea-green stone hung around her neck. Lucy gasped. "Look! You're in Narnian clothes now too, Susan!"

It was true. Susan clothes had transformed into a orange-gold gown like her sister's, and her own gold laurel crown rested on her head. A gold necklace with a topaz hung around her neck. She smiled wider. Despite how horrid she'd been to her brothers and sister, Alsan still accepted her. Susan Pevensie was finally home.

Well I think that was a nice ending, don't you? I will probably be publishing another PJO story a little bit later, but I thought it was time I contribute to the CoN fandom for a change. I own nothing, as CoN belongs to C.S. Lewis, and From Where You Are belongs to Lifehouse.
