The food tasted...different, somehow. He hadn't noticed before, since it was always Yugi living his life, except the duels. But now Yugi was gone, leaving him more than he deserved. Luxuries like eating, sleeping, not fighting for victory or life...
He had no right to complain, but when the other, bitter, wounds dulled, he thought of the little things like that.
He knew he'd been a Pharaoh. He knew he'd come from a time five thousand years gone. He didn't know if Raphael told the truth or lied, but he knew he had a chance to save the world.
