Okay... I knwo this isn't exactly obviously related to rent... but it's very much inspired by April, and i like it so i'm going to post it. Tell me if you like it or not.

As graceful as the quirk of her pink lips
Not that it's real by any means
But graceful in it's complexity
In it's ingenuity
As graceful as her falming red hair
Swishing
As she raises her head to the sun
Silently cursing it's happiness
It's gentle, and everlasting
Euphoria
Mirrored, deftly onto her face
As graceful as the close of an eyelid
Seemingly placid, peaceful
Actually a defense against the world
Fighting off all real emotions
As graceful as the tears, that would fall
That would shine in the euphoric sunlight
That would set her free
The only thing true,
Is shockingly absent
As graceful as anything
As a mask
So elegantly carved
By the hands of someone who has seen the world
Whom has been seen by the world
And has retired their very selves
In the fear that followed
As graceful as it crashes to the hardwood floors
And the magnificent china shatters
Lost to the world
And years of life, of experience
Are lost
It is graceful
It is the second, and last option
It is the flash of silver
It is the pure metallic menace
Sharp and poingant
As it strikes it's mark
And there is no longer a soul in need of a mask
That is graceful
