Hello everyone, this is my VERY first story and I hope to entertain you with it. This is an idea I've had for awhile and am just now planning to create it. So PLEASE R&R, I hope to get some positive feedback and ideas. All characters BUT Shiraga are owned by Sega

Angel Island:

Knuckles was laying in the grass not far off from the Master Emerald's Shrine sleeping peacefully.

When a extremely bright light began to shine, waking Knuckles and causing him to shield his eyes not to go blind from it.

The light finally fades off and on instinct he runs to the Master Emerald and stares in horror when he sees the emerald empty of life, it looks like a large glass sculpture.

Knuckles looks around to see what could have caused this and sees a large mass of gray energy floating

above the Emerald.

Staring at the mass of energy, he manages to studder out "What... the Hell?"

The energy begins to slowly form together. Before long the strange mass of energy forms into a dark grey Hedgehog with spines similar to Sonic's, with dark grey eyes, white gloves, fleshy colored mouth and belly with half light and dark grey shoes.

"Who are you?!" Knuckles says, "I am the combined powers of the light and dark energys of the Master Emerald. I... Am Shiraga The Hedgehog!" Says the grey entity.

"What the Hell did you do to the Master Emerald!?" Knuckles says.

"I did nothing, dear Knuckles. I simply released myself from my shell. It's awfully cramped in there, you know?" says Shiraga.

"

What do you mean?!" Knuckles yells.

Shiraga sighs and says "You're not the brightest one, huh?"

Knuckles growls at that.

"What I'm saying is, I AM The Master Emerald!"

"W-what? That's impossible..." says Knuckles, "Oh but it IS, my servant." says Shiraga with a smirk.

"But why? Why are you here? Have you come to destroy us?" Knuckles says,

"No. I am not here to destroy you. Only those who have used me for their own personal gain. You were given the duty of protecting me and you have done well." Shiraga says walking forward, Knuckles straightens up proudly after hearing this.

"I want you as my right hand man, to go out and restore peace to the Universe by destroying everything that ever has or could stand in our way. This, is your new duty." Shiraga says with his hand on Knuckles' shoulder.

"I accept... Master"

Ok, I know it's a REALLY short chapter but I want you to get how it all starts. I promise the coming chapters will be longer. So PLEASE PLEASE R&R. I love to get feedback.
