Hey guys! ItzaSecret here with my first ever fanfic :D This is intended to be the first book in a series.. No Spoilers! All of the characters and factions mentioned or depicted in this book do exist on a Minecraft server called TimelessPvP. Anyways, enjoy chapter one! UPDATE: Part 2 is now included in this chapter!
Another explosion rocked the small vault in which the few remaining members of Cortana had barricaded themselves. The once great faction was being hunted down by some of the most powerful factions on Timeless, Anthrax and Luminous. ArcherEve, leader of Cortana, had learned of a massive alliance against Cortana only hours before the attack. Caught unprepared, Cortana was annihilated by a siege on all four sides of their main base. Only Archer and six other faction members had managed to escape alive. Now huddled in the vault, they discussed how the faction could survive.
"Maybe we could mine through the ceiling and use the Admin Speed Melons to get away before they could catch us." Suggested Curcle441, the sole surviving recruit of the faction. "No, they would kill us as soon as we mined through the ceiling, and besides, the melons are only for emergencies." Archer replied. "And this doesn't count as an emergency?" Said Curcle incredulously, raising her eyebrows. "Not really, there must be another way, these cost over 1 million dollars each."The rest of the faction exchanged amused expressions.
Hikarubi, Archer's second-in-command stood up suddenly, eyes wild with excitement. "Guys!" He practically yelled. "This was the first base we ever built!" "Why does that matter, Hika?" Asked Archer. "Don't you remember? We put in a secret minecart system in case we ever needed a quick escape!" Archer's face lit up and he jumped up as well. "Come on! Hurry up everyone!"
Just then, the latest explosion shook the base, blowing a hole in the side furthest from the table at which they sat. Ender pearls arced through the gap, scattering gleaming shards across the dark obsidian floor. Anthrax and Luminous faction members poured into the base like a river. Curcle reacted the fastest, placing a layer of obsidian in between them before the enemy could reach them.
"Oh shit!" Gasped Curcle.
The two members in the group, Biffz and oPulverized pulled out their picks and began mining down towards the lower floor. "Stand back everyone" said Archer as he took out his god pickaxe.
