Hey, everyone. I know I haven't posted anything in a long time, so here. Something involving my favorite TV show of all time: Doctor Who. LOVE IT!! I just got seasons 1-3 for my birthday along with two box sets of the old Doctor Who TV show. I so love my grandfather right now.
Disclaimer: I own nothing….as usual
Summary: Five seconds inside the head of Rose Tyler before her father from the parallel universe saves her from being sucked into the space between parallel universes. ONESHOT.

Title: Five seconds
"ROSE!!" The Doctor screamed as I lost my grip on the handle of the rift machine. He reached out for me, trying desperately to find a way to save me. But you can't save me this time, Doctor. Not this time.
One.
I remember the first time I saw you. Those mannequins where about to kill me. But you showed up out of the blue and grabbed my hand. You told me to run. I ran with you. I didn't even know who you were. But if anyone had seen us, I bet it looked like we had known each other all our lives. My hand in yours, yours in mine.
Two.
I still remember the look on Mickey's face when I left with you. I must say, it was funny. But it was also heartbreaking. I was leaving behind everything I knew to run away with you. Everything. My mum, my boyfriend, my job, my friends, my life. All to see the stars. Let me tell you something, Doctor: It was worth it.
Three.
All the adventures we've shared. All the new races and people we've met. We have traveled through time and space, each time fun and dangerous. But you never let anything hurt me. You always got furious whenever someone threatened me. The first time we ran into a Dalek, I remember, you were so pissed off at the Dalek and the man who felt he needed to have it in his collection. You hated them so much. I could hear it in your voice after that door closed on me. But I also heard something else in your voice, Doctor. What was it?
Four.
Do you remember Cassandra? Oh, was she a character. Making herself 'pure' by turning herself into a trampoline. She actually thought of herself as the 'last true human'. Wasn't she surprised when I told her that I was completely human. And then we met her again at the hospital on New New New New New New New New New New New New New New New York. That self-deluded trampoline bounced back and forth between us like a kid high on sugar. She was full of lies and tricks. But one thing she said was true, Doctor. She said that I liked what I saw in you. Well, let me tell you;
Five.
She was right...I love you, my Doctor.
