Hello readers, new and old (if you're still out there)! To my old readers, welcome back and I'm so sorry for the absents and wait. You're truly the reason I'm back! I found this and read the reviews and just felt terrible about leaving.

To my new readers, welcome! Thank you for joining me here and I hope you enjoy. Also, if you read my other stories, I will probably re-write those as well.

Although Aerugo is usually a country who spends little time on warfare, they seem to always be at battle with Southern Amestris. Amestris, being too strong for Aerugo, always wins these border wars against Aerugo. Their leader, Prince Claudio, tried to make peace with Amestris but since Fuhrer Bradley was in control, he wouldn't have such a thing. They stayed enemies to this day, and Prince Claudio isn't going to trust tem with a peace treaty, even with the new Fuhrer.

Creta and Amestris didn't used to be the best of friends, having small wars on and off with Western Amestris. Ever since the Promised Day ended, Edward Elric had been able to make peace with the country, therefor becoming allies with Amestris.

Drachma and Amestris have always been on and off with their wars as well. In the early 1900's they signed a Pact of Non-Aggression with Amestris. Though, at the end of 1914, Drachma formally declared war on Amestris, bypassing their pact. Drachma has been at war with Fort Briggs in Nothern Amestris ever since.

Xing and Amestris had never had any wars of their own, considering they were not connected at the border because of the desert that separated them. After the Promised Day, General Roy Mustang had made a pact with the new leader of Xing, Ling Yao to build a railroad system from Ishval to Xing inaugurating a trade route. They were now allies of Amestris.

"Fine, maybe I be excused, sir?" After a quick nod, Roy rushed out the door and back to his office, Hawkeye catching him right when he walked out of the door. She could tell he was mad, but she wouldn't ask, not now anyway. Once they reached the office, he walked in and went to his private office, slamming the door behind him. "Whats up with him?" Havoc asked. Riza just shrugged her shoulder and went over to his door, knocking on it. When she had permission to enter, she did so. Once she was in and the door was shut, he spoke.

"We're going to war, and you're leading the troops. I have to stay here." He sat for a moment before looking up at her, waiting for a reply. "I can't lose you..." Riza just stood there, looking at him. "Aren't you going to say anything? Does this not upset you?" His voice got a little louder as he spoke.

"Of course I'm upset about it, but theres nothing we can do. We just have to go and fight, and hope not to die. We will be fine, you just need to worry about yourself." She smiled at him softly.

"But what about.." He stopped when he saw the look on her face. Roy has never been so conflicted in his life. He stood up and went over to her and hugged her. "You should quit the military before this happens."

"Don't be foolish. I have to make sure you reach your goal." Before he could say anything else, someone knocked on the door, making Roy pull away from Riza. He slowly walked over to it and opened it.

"What?" Havoc stood there, a confused look on his face. Then he moved to the side to reveal a young man with light brown hair. Standing with a salute, and shaking slightly. "And who the hell is this?"

"I was sent here by the Fuhrer, I'm your new recruit. Cadet Pisano."

Sorry it's still a short chapter, but it works I guess. I didn't want to change it too much. I'll post when theres an update or new chapter. Thanks again!
