Kouichi gave his brother an odd look, "Kouji, are you okay?"
And in return got an annoyed 'duh' expression, "What do you think?"
He didn't miss a beat. "That you're ticked off and throwing a hissy-fit…and misusing words, but that's not the point."
Which earned him a halfhearted glare, but the younger of the two didn't retort.
"Seriously though, you do know that that's not what a bus is, right?" They lived in Tokyo where main mode of long distance transportation was a train and if not then it was walking or on the rare occasion it was a car ride. Neither really used a bus, there wasn't a need to.
"Yes, it is." Kouji insisted, "It's this big yellow thing with rows of two person seats and lots of windows, it's driven usually by a big person in one of those big comfy chairs."
Kouichi shook his head, "No, that's the American version of a school bus." He paused and his eyebrows knitted in consternation, "And what was up with the driver comment."
Kouji shrugged and kept walking; they were on their way home from school. Today was one of the few days Kouichi had to find his twin and drag him out of bed and to school. Why? Because it was Valentines Day and unfortunately for the boy who liked to keep to himself, he had a fan club. One that went way over board on this day and it freaked Kouji out to the point that he preferred to just skip the day altogether. "And that's the definition of the word bus."
The eldest one rolled his eyes and decided to simply take the handheld dictionary he kept in his schoolbag out. "Let see…b…u…" He paused when he got to the s part of the word because under bus was the word buss. He blinked with curiosity and read the definition. Grinning to himself he chose to read that one instead of the actual bus. "A kiss, to kiss."
Blue eyes blinked and their owner stopped walking; now it was Kouichi's turn to be on the receiving end of the odd look though there was an edge of irritation to the raven haired teen's. "Kouichi, that's not funny."
He didn't back down though, merely tried to make himself look as innocent as possible. "But that's what it says."
Kouji shook his head, hair swaying slightly with the motion. "No, it does not."
Kouichi nodded adamantly though, "Does too." And pointed to the definition, but he angled the small book in a way that if Kouji wanted to see it, he'd have to come and stand right next to his slightly older brother.
And since Kouji trust him enough to be in such a close proximity without a second thought, he took the bait. When he was there he paused and then looked up at Kouichi, clearly about to say something but never got the chance to. Because the eldest teen leaned forward and give his brother a chaste kiss on the cheek.
Kouji's blue eyes flickered in an out of view rapidly for a few moments as he tried to collect his thoughts and composure. "What…was that for?"
He got a cheery grin, "Happy Valentine's Day."
