If you're gone
I
think I've already lost you
I think you're already gone
I
think I'm finally scared now
You think I'm weak - but I think
you're wrong
I think you're already leaving
Feels like your
hand is on the door
I thought this place was an empire
But
now I'm relaxed - I can't be sure
"You can't go, you wouldn't dare!" he screamed as she picked up her stuff and headed towards the door, her hand grasping the door knob firmly. Tears streamed down her face as she turned to look into his empty eyes.
I
think you're so mean - I think we should try
I think I could need
- this in my life
I think I'm just scared - I think too much
I
know this is wrong it's a problem I'm dealing
"I tried," she whispered. "But you didn't."
She opened the door and took one last look at him, the man she thought she would be with forever; no he wasn't that man anymore, he had changed.
"Goodbye," she said simply before walking out of his life forever. The door shut agonisingly slowly behind her. The last thing he saw of her was her amber eyes filled with tears not because she was leaving but because of what he had become. He stood there. The room was silent and empty.
I
bet you're hard to get over
I bet the room just won't shine
