I've written a few pieces about this subject before but I haven't posted them. Send me a review on what you think. If you hate it say one nice thing at least. If there is anything here that I could get sued for then I don't own it but I don't think there is.

Gaze unseeing over steepled fingers.
The bane stares back in mocking innocence.
White of innocence,
Black of tainted soul
The two meet over top
The square field below
The knight charges forward
The pawn counters
The first of many
To fall to each others' might
Silence steals over the battle
Swallowing the slight tap of each encounter
The minuets draw on
Stretching into years
The tainted soul looks away for a second
The white in desperation concedes to recklessness
Pieces are shuffled
The taint returns
Innocence in concentration doesn't see
The smirk that twists its lips
So the battle rages on
Across the never changing squares
Finally as dark begins to fall
Innocence makes a final move
Darkness stares across the board
And the king falls
Innocence meets taint
And sees inside the soul
His imminent demise
But he accepts his future loss
As his light comes sprinting across the room
Arms open wide…
And a mind is snapped out of memories
He curses the board before him
Never again shall he be the white of innocence
For his twisted soul cannot bear it
He closes his eyes in a sigh un-sounded
As he sees his souls' ghost smile across the board
