LONER

The only thing that has been there for me
When I was alone,
Was you and you alone
So in the end it was you
Who has kept my sanity above the ending line
When I was alone,
Scared,
And cold,
When you looked out for me
That was the greatest gift anyone has given me
The care of the person
Who promises to be there for you,
Until the end
But even then
They would still be caring for you
Even after they are gone from this world
And in the afterlife,
Even after they are reborn
Into someone or
Something else.
