Author's Notes: I play Tohma on a Gravi RPG and I wrote this for the game, depicting when he pushed Aizawa in front of the car. And Anomay suggested I post it. ^_^
::Tohma Drabble::
My hands refuse to shake. I nearly killed a man, and my hands are still as steady as if I'd been playing Beethoven.
But I wasn't playing Beethoven, I was pushing a man... my own employee, into the street. In front of a moving vehicle. Lights. Brakes. Horn. The proud Aizawa, lead singer of ASK, curled in on himself and shaking violently, unable to pick himself up off the street because he is paralyzed with fear, and desperately wishing he never heard the name of Yuki Eiri. Or Seguchi Tohma.
I'm not even certain why I was lurking outside Eiri's apartment. It's not like me to do such a thing. Perhaps I was worried about all the stresses that have been put on Eiri recently. Perhaps I was entertaining the momentary fancy of impeding Shindou's way home. Perhaps... perhaps I just wished to be in Eiri's vicinity.
In any event that's where I found Aizawa, running from the scene of his crime. I truly had thought him more intelligent than to assault Eiri directly. Thought him more dedicated to his band and his career, at least, to keep from being sidetracked with pathetic grudges.
But no, he's just another fool.
I wonder what he saw in my eyes when I walked toward him. It must have been terrifying, I could see the dread in his eyes as he backed away toward the street, stuttering and stumbling, daring to ask why I thought so much of Eiri. And so I answered him with the undeniable truth that he will never dare speak to another soul.
Eiri is the person I love most in this world.
He couldn't even respond as I reached out. A simple touch against his collarbone, a gentle shove, and Aizawa fell backwards. I never thought cold-blooded murder could be so easy. The world seemed to go into slow motion as he fell. Then the flash of headlights, screech of tires, and scream of the horn.
Goodbye, Aizawa.
