Hi all. This is just a little one-shot that popped into my head that I wanted to share with my Fan Fiction peers. Hey...I just realized, THIS IS MY 1ST ONE-SHOT! HURRAY!
Fubuki: HUZZA! Oh, and Snowy Egypt doesn't own Yugioh.
It was 1:00 A.M in the Kame Game Shop. Gramps was asleep in his bedroom, nightcap on his head, dreaming of the god cards, of course. Joey was also there spending the night to celebrate the end of the 1st nine weeks of school and the beginning of fall break. He was dreaming of…ahhh…me… but I'm getting off the subject. Yami was asleep as well. He had just come into the room after a midnight round of Pokemon Contests on his Pokemon Sapphire game. His last thought before getting in the bed was that he needed to teach his Kirlia some new moves for the Smart Contest. But that's off topic again…let's go to Yugi now.
Yugi was wide awake in his bed thinking about a very awkward question that he just HAD to share with somebody. And that somebody was Yami.
"Hey, Yami."
"…"
"Yami."
"Hmm?"
"Are you awake?"
"I am now. What is it?"
"Can I ask you something?"
"Yeah."
"Have you ever realized that everything and anything can be used as a weapon?"
This made Yami sit up and look at Yugi with confused eyes.
"And what brought this on?"
"Well," Yugi started, "I caught myself reading the school's code of conduct in my agenda during lunch, and it was the part that talked about what would happen if a student were to bring a weapon on campus. It got me thinking, 'What about a pencil? I could sharpen it to a fine point and stab someone with it. Why don't they consider that a weapon?'"
"Go on."
"Then I started thinking some more. What about paper? I could wad it up into a ball and shove it down someone's throat. Why isn't that a weapon? And the forks and spoons they give to us at lunch. I could break off the spoon part, and use the sharp part of the handle to stab a person's eye out, and I could use the forks as they are. And the desks! We can pick them up and knock somebody's head off! Oh! And we could do that with the textbooks, the basketballs in Gym class, the lunch treys, and the computer keyboards. We could also use the cords of the phone in the teacher's room and strangle the teachers! And I can't forget about how you can raid the janitor's closet and use his things to reek havoc. You could also steal the gun off of the school's parol officer or whatever you call him and shoot somebody. And-"
"Yugi?"
"Huh?"
"This is what happens when you eat Pocky while watching Disney movies late at night; randomness. Go to sleep."
"But I wasn't-"
"Just go to sleep."
"Oh, Alright. Goodnight, Yami."
"Goodnight, Aibou."
"..."
"..."
"Yugi?"
"Hmm?"
"Just what was the point of your randomness?"
"The point was that I feel safe in school knowing that I can protect myself."
"(sweatdrop) Oh...ok. Goodnight."
"Godnight."
Well, there you go. I know, it's weird, and violent when it comes to Yugi.
