Prologue -
Alice Marston wasn't always quite so distant, ever since her wife beating husband left she'd always kept to herself, keeping her feelings hidden away, staying away from the outside world and locking herself away in her house, it wasn't until James Lester tracked her down and offered her a job that she finally opened up.

Age: 25
Job: ARC creature tracker
Job description: Core ARC member, helps the team to track down and handle the creatures.
Alice sighed, who knew chasing dinosaurs around the streets of London was so god damn tiring? She rested her head in her hands, her mind still processing the events of that fateful day, two lives had been lost in an attempt to capture a Gorgonopsid which had bursted through an open anomaly, of which wasn't closed due to Connor's usual childish nature when he tripped and fell onto the locking device, therefore breaking it and reopening the anomaly. If it wasn't for Alice's instinctive tracking and military skills then many more people would have died.
"Here, thought you might need this" Alice raised her head, Abby stood in the doorway, two cups of steaming coffee clenched in her hands, She holds out her arm, while Alice gratefully took her drink. "You did well today" Abby praised, Alice shrugged, "Two people died Abby" She muttered under her breath, Abby sighed, "Yeh, I know, but that wasn't your fault" Abby said, her mind already blaming Connor.
Abby should have known what she'd gotten herself into, accepting a job as an animal tracker, tracking down dinosaurs. Her first day on the job and already lives were being lost, "Don't worry, you'll get used to it, it's always scary on your first day on a job" Abby reassured her, Alice groaned, "Yeh, thanks Abby" she replied, before walking out of the room, which happened to be her new office, kindly given to her by Lester.
Alice pushed open the doors of the main room, to be greeted by a loud blaring alarm of the ADD, "Two in one day?" Alice gasped, her coffee nearly slipped out of her hands, "You'll get used to it" Becker muttered on his way past, nudging Alice's shoulder on the way, She walked over, where Emily, Abby, Connor and Becker were stood behind Jess as she speedily typed on her laptop, "You'll never believe where it is….." Jess stammered, "Try me" Matt said as he walks up from behind, "It's ….It's in the ARC"
