Scourge of the Multiverse: Chapter 1

Scourge lay low in the trench he had awoken in, reviewing this surprising turn of events. Seperated from his troops by that look-a-like, Nemesis Prime, he found himself deposited in a dimension where the Decepticons acted as though they were Autobots and vice-versa. It was extremely unnerving, to say the least. He peeked over the ridge of the trench and looked at the battle that was unfolding.

He watched as a twisted, malevolent version of Optimus Prime battled an obnoxiously righteous Megatron. Few others he recognized, with the exception of a black and red version of that young punk from his own dimension, Side Burn, who fought almost as visciously as Scourge himself did. This place, this dimension. It was an affront to the natural order of things. It just wasn't right. Scourge found himself wanting to leave this place, but there was only one course of action. He had the Matrix, and he still needed to add to his army, or create a new one, as the current case may be. And he needed to get in touch with The Fallen. And given his current situation, there was only one way to do that. Scourge made up his mind.

Scourge stood up and climbed out of the trench he was hiding in, and made his way over to Prime and Megatron. As he approached, Prime had knocked Megatron to the ground, and had his gun pointed at him. "You're pathetic rebellion ends here, Megatron." Prime said in a voice that should have been far too sinister to be coming from Optimus Prime. Just as Megatron was about to reply, his eyes caught sight of Scourge, and his jaw dropped. "What's the matter Megatron? Unable to face your end with any dignity?" Prime narrowed his eyes at Megatron, as he realized the Decepticon leader was no longer focused on began to turn around, "What in the Pit are you glaring..." and came face to face with what could have been himself. Eyes opened wide, Prime said "What in blazes are you! Some sort of Decepticon trick."

"Hardly." Scourge said as he pulled his sword and ran Prime though the gut. Scourge pulled him closer and said "I know you won't understand this, but I have waited a lifetime to do that my own Optimus Prime," He twisted the sword. "And while I understand you are not him, you are a more than fitting substitute." Scourge pulled his sword out of the Evil Optimus and let him fall to the ground, dying. By this time, the entire battle had stopped, and everyone looked to the scene that unfolded. Scourge pulled his gun and aimed at Prime's head. He then yelled for all to hear. "Hear me! I am Scourge, and With this, I claim leadership of the Autobots!" He then pulled the trigger and blew the head off of the twisted, mirror-image of Optimus Prime. "Will anyone else attempt to fill his shoes?" The evil Autobots around him were in a stunned silence before they began to chant 'Hail, Scourge!'

Scourge looked down to Megatron. "You, leave, before I decide you're too much of a liability to let live."

As Megatron stood up, he looked Scourge in the eye. "I don't where you came from, or why you wear Decepticon insignias, but this changes nothing. You are no better than the being you just killed in cold blood. We will meet again." He then turned to his troops and ordered "Decepticons, retreat!" before transforming to jet mode and flying away.

Scourge laughed. "Yes, I believe we will." He then turned to his new troops. "Who was second in command?"

A blue, yellow, and black bot stepped forward. "I was! The name's Goldbug."

"And will you accept my leadership?" Scourge asked him.

"Yes, Lord Scourge." He answered.

"Good, now show me to our base. We have much to discuss. Much indeed."
