Summery: What would have happened if Lorelei and Luke hadn't been
interrupted when they were trying to break the bells?
*The Bells*
"Why do you care Lorelei?"
"Because I care Luke! It took me a whole week to get used to the idea that you didn't live there anymore, and now I find out you were lying to me?" We were screaming now. I hope nobody hears us.
"I wasn't lying to you! I do live at Nicolas. Besides nothing has changed!" Luke screamed his face turning bright red "I still see you everyday, I still serve you coffee everyday, and I still have to listen to your insane conversations everyday! So, like I said nothing has changed, so why do you care?"
"Because. Because I miss you and I hate it that you left, because I L-!" I shouted right back at him.
Luke stopped fiddling with the wrench, and his face paled. "What did you say?"
"I said. I said because I miss you, and what I didn't get to finish saying, because you interrupted me, was because. I love you!"
Luke looked really mad now, "Lorelei, don't joke about stuff like that. It is not funny."
"I'm not joking Luke." He knew it was true. I don't say things like I love you ever. If only there was some way I could show him. Oh wait.
I stepped up to Luke and wrapped my arms around his neck. I leaned in, and I touched my lips to his. Luke hesitantly wrapped his arms around me. It was nice, and we fit so perfectly. This was like the perfect dream. until I remembered what we were fighting about. He was living with Nicole now. I pulled away quickly and ran like hell out of the church. Too bad I didn't stay long enough to see Luke's crestfallen face.
