Prologue
"Sceptile, use Leaf Blade!"
"Blaziken, use Sky Uppercut!"
In Terracotta town, a Pokémon Contest was being held and two young trainers were battling it out on the battlefield in the Contest Stadium. On the left side of the stadium, was a young man with a Pikachu on his shoulder. He had an official Hoenn League cap worn over his black rustled hair. He wore a black T-Shirt under a blue sweater that was unbuttoned and blue jeans to go with it. He waited for the outcome of the impact of the two attacks.
On the other side, was a young female coordinator. She wore a red bandana over her brown hair. Matching with the colour of her bandana was a red shirt. She also wore blue shorts, under a white skirt with a fanny pack attached around her waist. She too awaited the outcome of the attacks.
"Sceptile, use Pound!"
"Blaziken, you use Blaze Kick!"
Once again the two attacks were evenly matched. There were only 30 seconds left on the contest clock. They both knew what they had to do in order for this match to end.
"Sceptile, use Solarbeam, full power!"
"Blaziken, use the strongest Overheat you can do!
The two Pokémon quickly charged the energy needed to pull off the attacks.
"GO!" The two trainers shouted simultaneously.
The two Pokémon released their well-charged attacks and they collided in the middle of the stadium.
"BEEP!"
The timer on the scoreboard marked 0. The two trainers anxiously waited for the smoke from the explosion to clear away to reveal who had won the battle.
The smoke finally cleared away... The judge looked at the scoreboard.
"It appears that we will be having two winners for this unofficial Terracotta Pokemon Contest. The two trainers were shocked for a moment, but then they smiled widely. They ran to the center of the stadium to receive their ribbon. The Nurse Joy approached the two competitors, Ash and May.
"We weren't really expecting this, so we only have one ribbon."
"That's OK," Ash said "Could you give me the ribbon so I can look at it?"
"Sure."
She gave the ribbon to Ash. Ash looked at Sceptile.
"You know what to do!" He said
He threw the ribbon into the air. Sceptile jumped after it and the leaves on his arm glowed a bright green. He quickly thrust his arm down, cutting the ribbon into two halves. Ash and May both caught one half of the ribbon.
"We got the Terracotta ribbon!" they said.
