Happily ever after. What is that? A cliché ending that fits anything. The prince and the princess overcame their issues and lived happily ever after. But what did that entail. Did they never fight? Did they have children? What is happily ever after? Where can I get it? Was it in the store "Happily ever after brought to you by fairy godmother inc.: Just slide shoe on and all ends well" These are the things that plagued Sakura as she fell asleep every night. She wanted a happy ending but you never heard "The ninja found her love and they lived happily ever after" But that is what she wanted. She wanted to be loved and to know that there was a happy ever after just for her. She was tired of people walking out of her life and putting her down. What was happily ever after anyways?
That is the question that slipped out while Sakura was lying on Kakashi's back while he did push ups.
"What?" was Kakashi's surprised answer.
"What is happily ever after? What does it mean? Does it mean if I have the right guy we won't fight? That bad things won't happen? What does it mean? And how do I get it?"
"Um..." was Kakashi's intelligent answer.
"Never mind forget I said anything. That's 200! Bye Kakashi-sensi" Sakura replied in a rather loud voice. She then ran from the field as fast as she could.
Later
"Who could that be this late?" Sakura wondered.
"Kakashi? What are you doing you here?"
"Answering your question. Happily ever after doesn't mean that you won't fight or that bad things don't happen, but it does mean that if you find the right guy you will always know that you are loved and cherished everyday of your life. It means that there will be someone who will not walk away from you, that there will always be someone to run to. Someone who will not judge or condemn you. That is what happily ever after is. And I am offering to give it to you."
She smiled and accepted his offer and they...well, they lived happily ever after
Okay I tried. The ending is weak but my roommate came back and it threw me off.
Anyway, there it is.
