Kagome sat on the steps that lead down to the well. It's over she thought to herself. We have defeated him. Naraku is dead, and Sango, Miroku and Shippo can finally live a good life. Then Inuyasha's face came to her mind. She closed her eyes tightly so tears would not filled her eyes. She hadn't forgotten the one she loved. The wound that had been inflicted on him, never properly closed. He died later on in the night.
Na Na Na Na…I miss you, miss you so bad. I don't forget you oh it's so sad…I hope you can hear me I remember it clearly…
She could see his face and the pain that he was in. Kagome did all she could. Nothing had stopped the bleeding. His soul was quickly draining away. His face became pale, and his eyes dull. His strength was all gone. She remembered the last few moments she had spent alone with him.

"Kagome." His voice was almost gone. "I know I'm not going to make it through. Please promise me, when I'm gone…you won't cry." He said his hand clutched tightly in her grip.
"Inuyasha, please don't say that! YOU WILL GET BETTER!" she tried to keep the tears from falling.
"Please Kagome, Promise me… PROMISE!" he yelled his eyes were teary.
"I promise…" she held her head low. He was drifting away his breath became quiet.
I didn't get around to kiss you, goodbye on the hand…I wish that I could see you again. I know that I can't oh…I hope you can hear me…cause I remember it clearly…
"Inuyasha, Please try to stay awake a little longer. Please. I can't loose you! I won't!" She yelled.
"I'm sorry Kagome…" his eyes were slowly closing.
The day you slipped away… was the day I found it won't be the same…No…
She couldn't get the image out of her mind, her feelings came out…She could remember it.
"INUYASHA! I LOVE YOU! PLEASE WAKE UP." She tugged on his Kimono and yelled and screamed but nothing was waking him.
Sango had taken Kagome in her arms. Sango's warms tears fell on Kagome's face. Miroku blessed his body and secretly hid tears rolling down his face.
I had my wake up, won't you wake up I keep asking why? And I can't take it, it wasn't fake it happened you passed bye…
She cried again, She pulled out the jewel and was going to wish that he would come back. However she stopped. She thought it shouldn't be wasted on her fortune. She laid the jewel in Inuyasha's hands She kissed his cold lips and walked away. She left them…She left them all. She didn't say goodbye she just went back to the well.
