James and Lily had dated for a few weeks, but it was evident that they wouldn't last.
Lily had her eyes on someone else, and James knew it. So he broke up with her, giving the new couple his blessing as he stood back and let the woman of his dreams date his best friend.
He had never known Sirius to be the romantic type. His friend had always acted like he didn't care for it, that it wasn't somthing he would ever put any thought into.
So he was a bit surprised as he and Remus, another friend of theirs, walked into their room, only to see Lily and Sirius sitting on Sirius' bed, a Bouquet of Flowers sitting on the desk next to them, and giggling to each other.
"I love you." Sirius told her as he rested his head on her shoulder.
"I love you more." Lily grinned down at him, the words coming out with a few giggles. Sirius pulled away from her and looked down at her, his hand on her cheek, grin still in place.
"Not a chance. I'm bigger, I can contain more love." He told her matter-of-factually. She giggled again and pulled him into a kiss.
James and Remus made a quick escape. They didn't want to intrude, they'll just get their book later.
