Lava: I got an email earlier from my cousin which inspired me to write this (in about 10 minutes, hence the fact that it sucks and is very short -.-'' but I like the message behind it)
Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-gi-oh.
Bakura and Ryou were zooming down the road on the yami's motorbike at 80mph and quickly gaining speed.
"Please slow down, 'Kura. I'm scared!" Ryou clung tighter to Bakura's waist. Bakura muttered something.
"Ryou..."
"No Bakura! I'm really scared. Please slow down!"
"Tell me you love me."
"Fine, I love you Bakura. Will you slow down?"
"Now give me a hug." Ryou shifted his arms so that he was hugging Bakura and then smiled. "Hey Ryou, will you take my helmet off, it's getting annoying me. You can put it on so you don't have to carry it." Ryou nodded and took off Bakura's helmet. He put it on over his silver hair which was flying backwards due to the speed of the motorbike.
"I love you Ryou."
In next days newspaper's, it informed the reader that 'A motorcycle crashed yesterday due to brake failure. Out of the two riders, one was killed and the other was severely injured...'
Bakura's POV
"Please slow down, 'Kura. I'm scared!" I smiled as I felt Ryou's grip tightening. As much as I thought scaring my hikari was funny, I knew that he'd get mad at me if I carried on going for much longer, and I gently pushed down on the rear brake pedal and nothing happened. So I pressed down harder. Still nothing.
"Come on." I whispered, urging the brakes to work. Fear shot all through my body, not for myself, but for my Ryou. "Ryou..."
"No Bakura! I'm really scared. Please slow down!" I smiled sadly. I didn't need to make up my mind about what I had to do, because I just knew.
"Tell me you love me." Just once more. That's all I need, to hear those words once more.
"Fine, I love you Bakura. Will you slow down?"
"Now give me a hug." When I felt his arms around me, I knew that there was no doubt in what to do. No matter what happened to me, he had to be safe, I had to protect him. "Hey Ryou, will you take my helmet off, it's getting annoying me. You can put it on so you don't have to carry it." It was a stupid lie, I know, but if I had told him the truth then he wouldn't have taken the helmet, my sweet Ryou's too kind for his own good sometimes.
Once he had put on the helmet, I uttered those three special words- the three words that I have never said before- to the only person I had ever wanted to say them to, but never had to courage to :
"I love you Ryou." And that's when one of the tires punctured and the whole bike was sent skidding along the road.
Lava: Make sure that you tell the people you care about how much you love them, you never know when something could happen to them. Please R/R. Thank you.
