AN: So I haven't written anything lately, let alone anything VeggieTales related, and while this isn't a full fic it's longer than the drabbles I've been pumping out typically and I'm really glad with how it turned out so here have a mini-fic.

Tourists of the Bumblyburg area had past them by without a second thought. They had seemed like any other happy couple, the sleeve of his blazer hooked around the waist of her fuzzy turtleneck as they walked.

Locals, however, would see the long red rope of hair, or the familiar one toothed grin emerge from the stubbled face of the town's most affluent bachelor (although some were starting to question if he truly was a bachelor anymore, whispers of the two having eloped were starting to become more and more frequent)and they would immediately turn to their companions, asking for verification, could that really be who it looked like?

But the zookeepers knew. They were there every Thursday and Saturday. She was there even more frequently if her schedule would allow it. And they always came to visit one exhibit and one exhibit only - the penguins.

"Look at them!" the redhead cooed, bending down, her nose against the glass as one of the penguins swam up to visit her. "They're so adorable when they're having fun!"

Larry smiled from foot behind her, chuckling lightly "And it certainly looks like they're having fun today."

She stepped back from the glass, back into the arm of her sweetheart. Resting her head on his shoulder, they stood contently watching the penguins for some time.

Eventually, he turned his head away from the penguins, his attention now on Petunia. Giving a light peck to her hairline, he suggested "We probably ought to get going."

She nodded, before turning back to the penguins. "Bye guys!" she cried jubilantly. "Be good! Behave!" she continued to shout various instructions along the same lines, blowing kisses to each of the individual penguins.

The tourists of Bumblyburg were baffled by this woman's strange behavior. Larry, however, couldn't help the smile the on his face as he watched her give her goodbyes. She couldn't exactly keep them with her like Dr. Flurry did, but there was no doubt in his mind that Vogue was the world's greatest penguin mommy. In fact, he thought, she'd probably be the greatest regular mom, too. But as he unknowingly toyed with the small velvet box concealed in his blazer pocket, he reminded himself that he had time to think about that a little further down the road.
