Kicking Back
Roxas sipped at a drink as he lounged in his room, boots resting against his small desk. He was sitting in his chair, balanced on the back two legs.
"Hey," he said, turning his face to look over at a Samurai Nobody. There were several hanging around inside. "Could you –"
"What in the world, Roxas?"
Axel had poked his head inside, and he was taking in this scene with raised eyebrows. "I know the lesser Nobodies serve, but really?"
The teen simply shrugged, taking another sip of his drink.
Sighing, Axel entered completely and closed the door behind him. "You know, I never thought I'd say this, but you're being lazier than I can be. Seriously. It's not like you'd ever see me getting some Assassins to do stuff for me, much less be my butlers."
Roxas just shrugged again, feeling spontaneous at the moment.
Axel felt like slapping himself in the forehead. Or better yet, his friend's face. "Are you even listening to me?"
"Eh." First sound to him so far.
The senior stared at his junior in exasperation.
. . .
"Roxas?"
Xion peeked inside her friend's room, blinking at the sight. "What the..."
Her friend was still reclining in his chair, despite the fact that it simply wasn't made for it. Axel was also lying around lazily, twirling an empty glass in his hand as he lounged on Roxas's bed.
Even as Xion watched them with wide eyes, a swirl of white and black signaled the arrival of a Nobody.
"Thanks, man," Axel said, holding out his glass to the Samurai. The Nobody glanced at Roxas for confirmation before filling the glass with a bottle it was carrying.
Roxas also wordlessly held out a glass, which was then filled.
The Samurai proceeded to set down a tray of snacks on the small nightstand, pausing for a moment. When nothing was said, it silently left. Axel then reached over and soon chomped down on a fruit, sipping at his newly filled glass.
"Umm..." Xion stepped back before someone noticed her, quietly shutting the door. "I don't even want to know."
