Ghost Of You
18 year old Kyrie was walking home to her home in Konoha from the Tea country. She didn't remember how she got there, she just was. The weather was all dark, cloud, and rainy, that's a first. But anyways, she walked through the Konoha Gates. Why were they open? They were usually closed. How strange. She looked around, no one. She walked in a couple stores, still no one. What's going on? She started to run around, trying to find someone, anyone. "HELLO?!", she yelled. Minutes later, she stopped, still no one… "WHATS GOING ON?!", she exclaimed in thought. She heard crying in the distance, and walked towards it, and ended up in a cemetery. 'O there's a funeral going on… I wonder who died…', she thought and walked towards a big group of people. There was when she saw her best friend Lee and walked over to him. "Lee who died?", Kyrie asked. No answer. "Hey Lee", she said still receiving no answer. She tried to nudge his shoulder, but gasped when her arm went straight through his. "What the hell?! What's going on?! Hello?! HELLOOO?!", she yelled in confusion and fright. "And here today to say a few words, is our good friend Rock Lee….", the preacher said and aside as Lee walked right through Kyrie. She shuddered, and turned towards Lee while listening intently. "I- I'm here today to… to honour… My best friend Kyrie…" Lee trailed off, holding back his tears ready to fall any minute. Kyrie's eyes widened. "What?! I'm not dead! I'm right here! Lee.. Look at me!!", she yelled. "… She was the sweetest, loveliest girl I have ever met.. She died protecting us, her friends, and her family. Her life was taken in battle in the Tea Country. She confronted that bastard Orochimaru.. Who took her from us! But, with her last bit of strength, she killed him too… Because of her, we don't have to worry about him trying to destroy this village anymore… This village was blessed to have an angel such as her to reside here… So, I end this with: Goodbye Kyrie, we will miss you, very, very much", Lee ended and stepped aside as he took a moment in silence to pray. His hair covered his eyes so no one could see the tears pour down his face, mixed in with the rain. "I- I'm not dead…", she whispered as tears feel silently down her face. She heard clunking behind her, so she turned around, only to meet her corpses frail, pale body. She was watching her corpse being slowly lowered 6 feet into the ground. At that moment, all the memories flashed through her mind. The last battle with Orochimaru, the reason why, and everything else. "He was.. Planning to launch an attack on Konoha as I was walking through the Tea Country on patrol… he had maps, weapons.. Everything that could destroy this village in seconds… I caught him off guard.. And then I took his life… with the last bit of strength I had before he killed me… I save the village from perishing, even though it cost me my life…", she said aloud to herself. She looked down and saw that her spirit was beginning to diminish away from this life. She cried silently. "Goodbye.. Lee…. Thank you for being my friend… Take care of everyone for me… I'll.. Be higher up in the world… Watching over you guys…", she said as the rest of her words were carried with the wind. Lee heard it faintly, and inhaled. Her voice, her smell, passed through him. Then.. They were gone forever… Well…. For this life…
