Her hair is soft and her eyes are oh so blue
She's all the things a girl should be,
but she's not you.
Taylor Townsend is great. She's beautiful and sweet and funny and caring and everything a girl should be, but I can't help but thinking "She's not you."
She knows just how to make me laugh when I feel blue

After our accident, everything was so hard for me. Even after I finally came back from the Cohens, I was closed off from everybody. But she was persistent and she got me to lower my defenses. She knows how to cheer me up and make me laugh, she knows what I like and what I don't and she's everything that I could want, but she's still not you.

When we dance, memories flood back from Julie and Caleb's wedding when we were dancing and I can almost imagine that it's you I'm dancing with. I have to remind myself that I'm with Taylor now, and have to stop myself from whispering your name.
