I do not own Okami.

Oki's Decision.

Snowflakes fell on lake Laochi, now unfrozen. The Ark of Yamato was floating in the sky.

The sun goddess Amaterasu stared up at the rainbow bridge leading towards the ark.
She began to walk up, but one thing was holding her back.

She turned around and saw a large fine looking male wolf, his fur was a grayish blue,
and the upper part of his pelt was red, and he had crimson eyes and silver circles with dots in the center along his side.

His mane was all mangled and messed up, along with the tip of his tail, which was tipped black. On his back was a glowing silver sword, the legendary sword Kutone.

"The wall of ice shall shatter and open the way to the heavens when Kutone, the guardian sword, glows silver."
And that is what happened, the wolf, who could shape shift into a human,
proved that he was a true warrior, which caused Kutone to glow silver, then Laochi lake melted, the wall of ice shattered, and the Ark of Yamato began to float, the way to the heavens opened.

Ammy adored this wolf, his name was Oki, warrior of the Oina tribe. The Oina tribe were shape shifters, but they only shape shifted into wolves.

Ammy took another step, and looked at Oki again. She tried to take another, but she loved this wolf too much.

She spun around and darted towards him. She stopped right in front of him, with a smile on her face. He was some what freaked out.

"Oki..." Ammy began, "I just love you too much to leave. Ever since the moment I saw you in your wolf form, I knew you would be a magnificent warrior. And you were, you are amazing. Words cannot describe my love for you and how wonderful I think you are."

Oki stood with his mouth wide open, practically touching the ground. "A-Amaterasu, I feel the same way for you."

Ammy smiled, but then frowned, she remembered that mortals cannot have a relationship with gods, it is forbidden.

Unless he made a very big decision.

He would have to stay a wolf forever.

Ammy said quietly, "Oki, I'm afraid to tell you this but, we can't be together. It is a law by they gods the gods and goddesses cannot be in love with mortals. Only other gods." She frowned, so did Oki.

"But there is one thing...if you could stay a wolf forever, then we could be together."

Oki was shocked, he looked around at the Oina tribe. Samikle stood in his wolf form,
nodding, telling him to be a wolf forever and be with Ammy. Samikle could handle the monsters. Kai and Lika nodded too, along with Tuskle and Kemu and a few other village members, all in their wolf forms.

Oki bowed his head and turned back to Ammy. "Amaterasu-" he began, but Ammy cut him off,
"Just call me Ammy." she said sweetly. Oki nodded, "Ok, Ammy, I will stay a wolf forever.
But how does this help if I'm still mortal?" Oki asked.

"Good question, Oki." Ammy said, "They said no mortal humans, they never said animals. Its even written down and offical, and they won't be changing it, ever. Plus, I can never have a human form."

Oki nodded, he turned to the villagers, Samikle turned back to his human form and walked up to Oki and held out his hand. Oki transformed into a human for the last time, and shook Samikles hand, and put Kutone back in its shrine. He walked up the rainbow bridge and waved goodbye, the did a back flip and was in his wolf form. And let out a howl.

All of the villagers were in their wolf forms and began to howl all together, even Ammy joined in.

The wolf couple turned around and began to walk up the rainbow bridge, happily walking side by side.

So, how was that? And yes, all of the villagers have wolf forms. If you use the celestial brush to draw a circle around them in their human form they'll turn into their wolf form. Draw a circle around them again to turn the back into human form.
