All the Slytherins were sitting at the Slytherin table in The Great Hall. Suddenly, music started from seemingly nowhere. Then Draco stood up and, unexpectedly, started to sing.
Draco: Everyone says that Slytherin house is the worst place to be
Pansy: Why?
Blaise: Just because the dungeons are so cold
Cho: The dungeons are so cold
Pansy: And because we have to deal with greasy Sevvy Snape
Ginny: Eww!
Crabbe and Goyle: And because our souls have all been sold
All Slytherins: To You-Know-Who!
Blaise: But there are good parts, too, that you may not have seen
Hermione: Like what?
Pansy: We get to wear green Draco: are expected to be mean
Goyle: See the ickle firsties scream when we accidentally bump 'em in the hallway
Draco: Get to goof off in Potions just because
Crabbe: Snape would rather yell at Harry Potter
Pansy: Yell at Harry Potter
Blaise: He'd always rather yell at Harry Potter
Pansy: Yell at Harry Potter
All: Than ever give detention to someone from his own house
Pansy: We get to wear green Draco: are expected to be mean
Goyle: See the ickle firsties scream Blaise: When we accidentally bump them in the hallway
Draco: Get to goof off in Potions just because
Crabbe: Snape would rather yell at Harry Potter

Ron: Than ever give detention to someone from his own house

All Slytherins: Than ever give detention to someone from his own house
Snape: Harry Potter, that's 10 points from Gryffindor and a detention on Saturday. Harry: But professor, that's not fair, I've got quiditch practise! Snape: I don't care!
Blaise:Thank God for Potter
I got an O in Potions
Crabbe and Goyle: Yay Harry Potter
Pansy: … Guess Potter's not that bad
Draco: Ugh!
The song ended. The music stopped. "What do you mean Potters not that bad?!" demanded Draco. "He's a stupid Gryffindor prat!" Pansy nodded in agreement, followed by everyone else. Draco smiled smugly; he had these people under his control. Blaise whispered to Pansy –
"I'm just going along with it. I don't really have anything against Potter… well, apart from the fact that he's in Gryffindor."
"Same." Pansy whispered in reply.
Draco was still smiling smugly at the fact that he had his own little gang under his power… or so he thought! Snape seemed slightly embarrassed but he had seemed to enjoy the singing as much as anyone else. 'The Slytherins aren't that bad singers' thought Ron. Hmmm… I guess Slytherin's not half bad!
