In Sububrbiaburg Town, U.S.A, on Elm street, A new family was moving into the Thirteenth house. The previous residents of number 13, the Bates, ( A mother and her little boy) had moved out to start a motel.

Mr and Mrs Belmont of number 12, who were the sort of prying annoying neighbour you'd expect in a sitcom, were glad to see that those psycho Bates gone, especially that fatherless freak of a son, Norman.

Mrs Belmont, saw Norman as someone who would stab her in the showers, and Mr Belmont saw him as an overly attached mama's boy who would lose it when she kicked the bucket.

Hoping the new family wouldn't be a bunch of Cannibal rednecks with chainsaws, Mrs Belmont watched by the curtain with bated breath. To her horror a car pulled up, and four weirdos with hockey masks on stepped out.

Even though they hadn't done anything actually abnormal yet, Mrs Belmont still didn't like her soon to be neighbours. They weren't like her or Mr Belmont. She, like her brother Vernon Dursley across the pond, hated anyone even remotely different from her.
