Is This Love?

He bent down to me, so close, so close, his breath tickled my ear. "I love you."

A thousand beautiful birds suddenly lifted me into the air, each one singing its own pleasant melody. Countless wings pushed me up farther, farther, farther... And with each 'farther', I seemed to breath in more air, more happiness, more joy. I felt my heart would explode with happiness at any moment now.

I looked into those beautiful grass-green eyes of his... I had never felt so close to him before.

"I love you, too."

I knew it was true.
