Elliot stared at his wife, Kathy; she looked as if she was having a mental breakdown. She was throwing plates at him and shouting at him. She had her back turned to him but still yelling at him.

"I honestly can't believe you Elliot. How could you just cheat on me with her? I mean, I know our marriage as gone a little downhill, but we could've on it. You did have to cheat with her." Elliot began to slowly come behind her. "I guess I can't blame you." Elliot stopped. "I mean Olivia is young, smart, beautiful, did I mention young. I mean, we met in high school, I was much younger than. I completely understand why you would turn to her." Elliot rolled his eyes while sighing and continued to go over to her. "We've been married for over 20 years. I guess I can get boring…" Elliot spun her around quickly and cut her off by pressing his lips to hers in a powerful kiss. He weaved his hands into her hair holding her head to his. Kathy eventually gave into the kiss. She grabbed his shirt and held on for dear life. When they could no longer go without air, they pulled back. Elliot kept his head against his wife's.

"Kathy, I don't know what more I can do to make you see that it's you I love. I have never cheated on you with Olivia. Yes, I love her, she's my partner. I love you so much more. You're the mother of my five wonderful children, you're my wife of 20 plus years, and you are the most wonderful person in the world."

"But, but Olivia's young and smart and beautiful."

"So are you. You're young and you're smart and YOU. ARE. BEAUTIFUL. Don't ever doubt yourself Kathy. I can't understand why you can't see how truly beautiful you are or how much I love you. I wouldn't have married you if I didn't love you." Kathy tried to get away from him but he tightened his grip on her hair holding her to him. "You're not getting away from me. I'm serious Kathy. I love you more than life itself."

"I love you too Elliot, I'm just waiting for some sign that you'll never leave me." Elliot smiled and leaned in and pressed his lips to hers. He let go of her hair and pulled her close to him wrapping his arms around her waist. She wrapped her arms around his neck linking her fingers together at his nape. They pulled away and Elliot smiled.

"That enough of a sign?" Kathy smiled and kissed her husband again as he picked her up and spun her around. Kathy had to admit… it was the best sign of her life.
