The House
Once,there was a house where there lived two brothers. The elder, Martin Barton, was
normal in every respect. The younger, Gordon Barton, had an unusual ability. when he
went into a trance-like state, various creatures from other realms would be brought into
ours, and, this was harmless, most of the time. But sometimes, it could cause quite a
disturbance.
Such as on one day... It began a normal day( or as normal as days ever get in that house)
with Martin going about his usual business until he noticed a strange looking girl outside
the house. When he came to the door to see if she was lost or needed help,she was very
puzzled.
Martin started by asking her name. "Kinomoto Sakura" she said. Then with a puzzled
look: "I must ask, how is it you speak Japanese?" (He had told her where she was.)
"I'm not" he replied, with a sinking feeling. "Oh, no" he thought, "my brother is at it
again"...
Author's notes: This is based on an idea I got several years ago after watching one of the
"Amazing Stories" movies.
