"Use the Force, you must."

Yoda leaned on his walking stick as he stood in the room for the Jedi Council meetings. Surrounding him were several younglings who were all hopeful to one day become future Jedi. He was delivering to them one of his many lectures about the Force, hoping they were paying attention to him.

"For good and the good of others, a Jedi uses the Force. Never for anger or revenge. A path to the dark side, those are."

The younglings subtly exchanged glanced with each other. They were certainly taking in what Yoda was saying – but it was how he was wording it which gripped their attention.

"If fall to the Dark Side, you should, your downfall, it shall be."

Yoda gazed around at the younglings with a stern, serious look. Open seeing they had all fixed their stares on him, he suddenly beamed brightly, certain they were heeding all he was teaching them.

"Any questions, have you?"

"Yes, Master," one boy said, raising his hand. "I have a question."

Yoda turned his attention to the seemingly-inquisitive boy. "Ask, you may."

The boy lowered his hand as he peered softly in Yoda's direction – then he suddenly pulled a silly face as he spoke in a voice like Yoda's. "Why speak like this, do you?"

The rest of the younglings burst into laughter, finding their friend's teasing towards their master hilarious.

Not seeing the funny side, Yoda sighed wearily – before silencing the younglings as he hit the cheeky boy hard on the forehead with his walking stick.

"Ow!" The imprudant yelped, rubbing the spot where his master had hit up.

"Here, look, Obi-Wan!" Yoda said gruffly. "Enough of your cheek, I have had. Training to become a Jedi, you are here for! A laughing stock for your amusement, I am not! Clear, am I?!"

"Yes, Master!" All the younglings answered in unison and fear.

"Good! Now practicing with your lightsabers, carry on with, all of you!"

Not waiting to be ordered twice, the younglings quickly ignited their weapons. They began to swing the blades as they tensed up nervously, not wanting their master to hit them with his stick.

Yoda watched for a little while as the hopeful future Jedi practiced with their lightsabers, then he turned and walked away with the help of his stick, shaking his green head.

"Easy training younglings, it is not," he muttered grudgingly to himself. "Bother, why do I?"

The end.
