It was a peaceful day in Konoha
It was a peaceful day in Konoha. Kiba was walking around, admiring the scenery.
This day would be perfect if I were here with Hinata… He thought dreamily.
By instinct, he wandered down to the training spot where he and Hinata always sparred, finding himself tripping over Hinata asleep in the grass. Hinata's eyes flew open.
"K-Kiba-kun!" she cried startled. Kiba slowly lifted his head from the grass.
"Dang it…..."he whispered. Why does he always have to embarrass himself in front of Hinata? He looked up to find Hinata kneeling down next to him, staring down at him, her long navy blue hair gently blowing in her face.
"Are you okay?" she asked in a worried tone. He nodded, flushing a bright pink.
"You've got a cut," she said, pulling a brown cylinder from her pocket. Opening it to some kind of goop, Hinata stuck two of her fingers into the mixture and gently smeared it on Kiba's face.
Hinata's hands were soft and warm, and just touching her made Kiba twitch. He slowly lifted a hand and pressed it tenderly against hers, stroking her hand against the dark red triangles on his cheeks.
Hinata did not seem startled or try to pull away. Instead, she stroked his cheeks willingly. Hinata finally put her hand down, and seemed nervous. She looked at him with her large, lavender eyes, and at once Kiba knew they were on the same page.
"Kiba-kun, I just want to get this out," she said, staring at the ground again.
Oh god! Kiba thought, what's she gonna say?
"I-I love you!" Hinata said, rather boldly, turning red as a strawberry. Kiba was shocked but also extremely pleased. Hinata seemed as though she were about to cry, but before she could shed a tear; Kiba embraced her firmly into his leather jacket.
Kiba whispered softly into her ear, "I love you too." Hinata did start to cry, but out of pleasure, not sorrow. She snuggled down in Kiba's chest, tears flowing down her cheeks. After a few minutes she showed her face, a radiant shade of pink. Looking into Kiba's dark eyes, she thought she could spot a few shimmering traces of tears. They were enjoying their time together so much, before they knew, their lips were pressed together, and they were savoring the moment. Wrapping their arms around each other, nothing could pull them apart.
Meanwhile, Neji and TenTen were walking near the training ground hand-in-hand, when they spotted Kiba and Hinata kissing tenderly.
"Took them long enough……." Neji sighed.
"Like us," giggled TenTen, then she kissed Neji on the cheek.
Now all the boys in Konoha know not to mess with Hinata, or they'll have to go through Kiba.
