I was listening to the song 'In Case You Didn't Know' by Brett Young and thought it fit Cosmo and Wanda perfectly.
I am in denial about the severe downward spiral of their relationship and refuse to believe they no longer like or love each other anymore.
Constructive criticism is always welcomed and appreciated.
I do not own FOP or the song 'In Case You Didn't Know.

He watched her as she sat by the fireplace, hugging her legs to her chest. She was lost in her thoughts as she watched the flames dance around the logs behind the safety gate. He opened his mouth to speak but his voice got caught in his throat. He couldn't count the times he almost said what was on his mind, but didn't.
He sighed looking down at the piece of paper in his hand. He wrote her a letter telling her what he knew she needed to hear. But quickly put it back into his pocket.
He looked at her again, his brows knitting together in concentration, thinking of what to say. Thinking wasn't something that came easy for Cosmo. But for Wanda, he'd do anything, or at least try. He knew she wondered if he still felt the same way about her as he did when they were younger.
With determination he made his way over to his wife and silently sat beside her on his knees. She lifted her head to look at him. He gently placed a piece of hair behind her ear as he gazed into her eyes hoping she could read his mind.
'I'm so crazy about you.' He thought, hoping to project his thought to her and trying to will his mouth to form the words.
He wanted so badly to tell her what she deserved to hear. But he was never good with words. Things always came out wrong. He gently cupped her cheek in his hand, never breaking his gaze. The wine they had at dinner was starting to kick in and he could feel himself relax a little.
'That second glass of wine was a good idea.' He sighed as he felt the relaxing sensation of the wine take over.
He leaned in and gently brushed his lips over hers. Before he could pull away, Wanda grabbed the back of his head and deepened the kiss. Every touch and every kiss from Cosmo made Wanda feel loved, a feeling she didn't seem to feel very often anymore. But she valued it anytime she did feel it.
Wanda knew he loved her. But his actions and the jokes made her question just how much. When they pulled away, Cosmo rested his forehead against hers. 'Just tell her!' His mind demanded him.
"Wanda?" He whispered
"Yes?" She whispered back
"I just..." he hesitated, biting his lower lip in nervousness.
Wanda placed her hands on his face, pulling his head up so she could look at him better. "Cosmo, what is it?" She asked gently.
"I've had something on my mind and..." he hesitated again, knitting his brows in concentration as he closed his eyes.
Cosmo, just tell me." She encouraged gently. Cosmo took another deep breath and opened his eyes, looking directly into hers. His fingers gently stroking her cheek.
'Here goes nothing' He thought as he took in a deep breath.
"I love you Wanda! I honestly don't know what I would do without you. And even though I don't tell you all the time, you had my heart a long time ago. You're everything to me. I wouldn't want to live my life without you. I just wanted to tell you that, in case you didn't know."
Wanda was touched by his words. She knew it wasn't easy for him to express himself, let alone be so serious. "I love you too Cosmo, and I always will!" She replied with a smile before bringing him into another kiss.
