Chapter 0: Prologue
Long ago, there are two races ruled over the Earth: Humans and Monsters.
One day, the terrible war broke out between the two races.
After a long battle, the humans are victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell.
But humans unknowingly failed to catch rest of monsters. Few had escaped from their wrath.
Many years later...
In Mt. Ebott, there's a legend that says those who climb the mountain never return.
I, the warrior from the war who managed to escape from humans wrath, knew what happened to these humans who never returned from the mountain.
"Dad... the humans who climbs the mountain... they're the children, right?" A small voice asked.
A large muscular brown goat with black beard looks down at the small brown goat. He sighed heavily. He puts his paw on head; near to his curled horn, one of the horns are broken. "Frisk, my girl... I am not going to lying to you. Yes, they're children." He said with rough voice. A small goat tiles her head. "But...why did the war broke out between us and humans?" She asked. The goat lets out a chuckle. "Goodness, the reason for the war aren't even happy reason. But that doesn't matter. Frisk... our race- monsters, they needs our help. But I cannot bring myself to hurts a human to break a barrier. I mean... the king, Asgore, wasn't right in his mind. I just know that he won't be reasonable. He might will declare a war to humans again." He spokes with nervousness. Frisk nods. "Dad, you do believe that I can freed monsters from underground?" He looks at her, studying her face. She have small horns atop her head. Her eyes are closed with a noticeable scar across her right eye. He gently smiled at her. "Frisk... you're the product of the monster and human. Me and your mother. You're the proof that monsters and humans can coexist once again. Your mother, Elizabeth, would wants you to restore the peace between the humans and monsters. You're the future for monsters and humans." He said with a stern tone. "I mean it, Frisk. Or my name isn't Felix Determurr." Frisk giggles softly. Felix smiles at her. "Right, it's late. You need rest. Tomorrow is the big day. You're going to underground and freed monsters. One way or another, I know you can do it. And remember..." He said with a finger pointing at her. "Don't kill and don't get killed." Both goats said at same time. Felix lets out a hearty laugh as Frisk giggles softly. "Frisk, you remember how to change your form?" He said as he leans close to her. Frisk nods excitedly. "Yes! I do remember! Although, I don't understand why can't I show them until I freed monsters from underground." Felix exhales heavily, leans back from her. "I know but, isn't it strange that a monster that comes down from surface? All monsters believe that every monsters are down there. They won't believe you that you're coming from the surface. Even though you're the hybrid of monster and human." Frisk nods solemnly. "I know. I'm a monster but I have a human soul."
Felix sighed softly and smiled. "Right, big girls like you needs to rest! You're going there." Frisk nods and lets out a big yawn. "I won't let you down, Dad. I won't let mom down neither." Felix chuckle softly. "I know, my little angel, I know you won't."
